Wow! It's been almost a year since we've updated our site! Oops!
-Next month we will start recording our new project... we've hooked up with producer and friend Adam McIntosh (formerly with Dry Branch Fire Squad, currently with Joe Mullins & the Radio Ramblers)... we hope it will be a big success!
-We have some IBMA showcases lined up from Sept 29-Oct 1... more info coming on that.
-Stanley Efaw from Akron, Ohio has joined McCoy Grass playing fiddle! Check out his bio on
The Band page.
-Kelly acheived her life dream and sang on stage with Rhonda Vincent. Watch the video (and other new videos) on the
Promotional page.
-We are booking more and more shows each day! Hopefully we will see you at a festival in the near future! Check out our
Tour for more information...
-RIP Paul "Moon" Mullins... you will be greatly missed. I remember watching him play the fiddle and talk on the radio since I was a little kid. We just went to his funeral today and it was sad that a great bluegrass legend has passed away.
-August 1 was Katelyn's 15th birthday. She'll be driving soon... watch out!

-I would like to tell everybody that our Grandma Ruth McCoy passed away this past Sunday, Oct. 14.  She & my grandpa came to many shows.  She will be GREATLY missed. She requested that we play 2 McCoy Grass songs at her funeral. ('Medals for Mothers' and 'Give Me Wings.' RIP Grandma.
-Back in April, I went down to Tennessee and recorded a song with Alex Leach, which will be released sometime next year on his new CD.  We have performed the song a couple times since then, and let me tell you, it sounds AWESOME! A bunch of our other friends were featured on the CD, including Kody Norris, Tom Isaacs, Sammy Adkins, and James Lowe. They are really great guys & the CD will be a must-have. Be looking for that!
-McCoy Grass has changed contact information! Check out the

-
There have been many questions about Katelyn & I and our education.  As some of you may already know, a lot of people from school have signed our guestbook saying things like "I will miss you" etc., and this is because Katelyn & I are now homeschooled.  We are now taking our classes online through Fairborn City Schools.  We have certainly NOT dropped out of school!  This will help us with our traveling and recording our CD by not having so much stress with our schoolwork, but we will continue with our education and graduate from high school.
-
If you haven't already, feel free to sign our guestbook.  Just click the link to the left.  Also, we have a new message board.  Feel free to post a message there.  We would love to chat with you!
-
Katelyn & I will be attending this year's SPBGMA convention in Nashville, TN from Feb. 1-4.  We are really, really excited about going to Nashville!  I'll post some pictures when we get back!
